Your data stays yours

Studio is built for businesses that want online booking without handing customer records to another platform. Under UK GDPR and equivalent laws, you remain the data controller for your customers’ personal data; BookingPage.ai acts as your data processor when we handle that data through your Studio booking page and Google Calendar connection.

Here’s what that means in practice:

  • Appointments are created in your Google Calendar — we don’t store a copy of your booking history.
  • Customer details (name, email, phone) go into that calendar event; you must provide your own privacy notice to customers and respond to their rights requests as controller.
  • We store your page configuration (services, branding, working hours) and secure calendar connection tokens so the page can work.
  • Admin emails (confirmations, alerts) go to the business email you register — not a shared inbox we operate for you.
